Fig & Almond Balls

K I go through phases of totally loving dried figs and in that case will eat handfuls at a time, then feel sick. Other times would happily leave them. This was not one of those times. I was having figs on everything.

Figs are high in potassium, which is a mineral that helps lower blood pressure. They are also very rich in fiber and Vitamin B6 so vegans, eat your FIGS!

This recipe probably only makes about 12-15 balls

Ingredients:

1.5 cups of dried figs

2 cups of Almonds – finely ground

1/2 cup of flaxmeal

1 tbs Almond Butter

1 tbs coconut oil

pinch of salt

*water as needed to create the right ball rolling texture

Roll into little balls and chill

Enjoy xx
